Job Duties:

    • Successful candidate must be able to configure, install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor LAN / WAN Hardware and software including but not limited to switches, routers, for data, voice, video communication systems. (Including wiring, and cabling to ensure connectivity and functionality.).
    • Candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills and be able to provide customer service through a central help desk to resolve and ensure resolution of problems.
    • The successful candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills with professional appearance.

      Qualifications:

        • Must be CCNA Certified .
        • Network Hardware Configuration, Maintenance, Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Developing Standards.
        • LAN Knowledge.
        • Past experience with customer relations a must.

              Infrastructure Engineer

              The infrastructure team is tasked with the overall design, maintenance and general oversight of corporate infrastructure. Under the direction of senior management, the infrastructure team works to develop sound cost-effective solutions to solve complex business needs for both internal and external stakeholders.

              The Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer and work closely with the Installation Project Coordinator on both internal and customer facing network projects. The Infrastructure Engineer will work with the Infrastructure team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all systems managed and designed by the infrastructure team.

              Required:

                The Infrastructure Engineer will be expected to take ownership of escalated support issues from the System Support Center, as well as guidance to junior staff. His/Her responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

              • VMWare ESX server and VM deployments
              • Citrix Xenapp and XenDesktop Deployments
              • Enterprise Data Backup & Validation
              • SAN Setup and Maintenance
              • DataCenter equipment Maintenance & Installation
              • Design and build test environments for use in proof of concept development
              • Ensure that Network Security Policies are maintained and enforced
              • Ensure appropriate network monitoring is in place and functioning
              • Work with clients to ensure solutions meet customer needs and that SLA’s are met

              Network Systems Technician

              The Network System Technician is a position that requires a foundational emphasis on Linux based solutions that include abilities in development, configuration and maintenance of Linux and Microsoft based applications. The preferred candidate will have a strong skill set in networking and willing to learn all areas of technology (voice and data).

              The Technician will work from a home office 50% of the time and on-site with clients the other 50%.  A typical schedule is 8-5, M-F

              75% of the position is reactive in terms of handling service requests and troubleshooting.  25% of the position is creative development of solutions and proposals.

              Job Responsibilities

              • Provides end-user hardware and/or software support and training when required; troubleshoots as needed.
