IT Manager

Primary Function:


Our client is looking for a high level information technology infrastructure and ERP applications manager. The qualified candidate must have prior experience building a viable operational plan to manage all aspects of the IT infrastructure and application support. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.

Requirements:

    • Interprets strategic plans and recommends IT actions to support them.
    • Plans and controls staffing and development, organization, hardware acquisition and facilities for the IT department to assure that they are consistent with and supportive of the business plans of the company.
    • Directs the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs and systems software to meet the needs of the company.
    • Administers and controls the IT expense budget.
    • Maintains knowledge of developments in the area of systems and hardware to assure that new developments are incorporated in future systems of the company.
    • Responsible for the global IT systems.
    • Collaborates with and supports initiatives which might be led by other functional areas such as Marketing.
    • 10% international travel.

      Education:


      Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; at least 5 years relevant experience and 5 years supervisory experience. Previous experience with a major ERP system such as SAP, JDE, 4th Shift, Oracle etc.

      Qualifications:

          Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents; respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors; work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

        Operations Manager

        Primary Function:

        This is a manager position and the duties include daily operations management. Oversight of managing each of the team members and responsible for successful accomplishment of projects, SLAs, KPIs, goals and KOs.             Infrastructure Engineer

            Status: Open


            The infrastructure team is tasked with the overall design, maintenance and general oversight of corporate infrastructure. Under the direction of senior management, the infrastructure team works to develop sound cost-effective solutions to solve complex business needs for both internal and external stakeholders.

            The Infrastructure Engineer will report to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer and work closely with the Installation Project Coordinator on both internal and customer facing network projects. The Infrastructure Engineer will work with the Infrastructure team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all systems managed and designed by the infrastructure team.

            Required:

              The Infrastructure Engineer will be expected to take ownership of escalated support issues from the System Support Center, as well as guidance to junior staff. His/Her responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

            • VMWare ESX server and VM deployments
            • Citrix Xenapp and XenDesktop Deployments
            • Enterprise Data Backup & Validation
            • SAN Setup and Maintenance
            • DataCenter equipment Maintenance & Installation
            • Design and build test environments for use in proof of concept development
            • Ensure that Network Security Policies are maintained and enforced
            • Ensure appropriate network monitoring is in place and functioning
            • Work with clients to ensure solutions meet customer needs and that SLA’s are met
            • Maintain knowledge of new and developing technologies that can be applied to corporate mission
            • Respond to and troubleshoot network and system alarms

            Personal Skills:

            • Must posses good communication skills, both written and verbal
            • Must be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
            • Be able to function independently as well as in a team environment
            • Must have a desire to constantly learn and develop new technical skills
            • Must have good time management and organizational skills

            Technical Skills:

            • CCA (Certified Citrix Administrator) or equivalent knowledge of Citrix XenApp
            • Hands on VMWare ESX Server Experience or VCP
            • In-Depth hands on experience with Microsoft Server technologies (MCSA/MCSE Preferred)
            • Demonstrated Hands on experience with Networking Technologies (Cisco, Checkpoint, etc)
            • Experience managing Multi-Domain Active Directory architectures
            • In-Depth understanding of network/system security concepts and best practices
            • Exchange 2007/2010 Experience a desired
            • SQL Server knowledge a plus
            • Exposure to ITIL concepts a plus

            Windows Engineer Team Lead

            Status: Closed

            Provide leadership and mentoring in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Windows and related infrastructure.  Oversee a large diverse team of Server technicians, coordinating and prioritizing their workload.  Monitor project status and communicate issues and successes as needed.    Establish and maintain relationships with supported business units and their development teams.  Stay abreast of new technologies, including open source, to understand possible implementations in the data center.

            • Active Directory administration support for a minimum of (5) years
