Analytics Team Lead

Position Summary:
As the analytics team lead, the applicant will be responsible for leading the work of a small team of 1 to 2 individuals. The responsibilities of this team include extracting data from multiple source systems using SQL and other tools, analyzing data to help clients better use and understand their business and creating complex reports and score cards to present information in meaningful and insightful ways. The candidate will also be called on to create Adhoc documents and presentations that will be used to convey important metrics and decision points to our clients using both written and visual (Charts and Graphs) representations of data. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem solving skills and will have both the ability and desire to solve new and complex problems.
Required Skills:
- Undergraduate degree.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A background in technology and computer systems.
- An understanding of relational databases.
- Experience developing SQL queries.
- Experience using MS Office Products especially Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Implement and enforce the use of improvement processes and tools to improve sales performance.
- An understanding of Healthcare concepts, specifically in the public sector.
- An understand of the concepts used to design a business report.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience as a team lead.
- Experience using data and statistical analysis software.
- An understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in using Cognos Cubes, Reports and Report Studio.
- An understanding of the workings of PA state and local government.
