<strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3-5 years experience developing applications with a background on system software and/or distributed systems</li>
<li>Familiarity with BSD sockets API or distributed systems</li>
<li>Proven experience designing scalable and reliable software, and with parallel file systems</li>
<li>BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering</li>
<li>C/C++ and Linux/Unix experience</li>
<li>Computer architecture oriented</li>
<li>Experience recognizing, correcting, and preventing synchronization problems in multi-threaded systems</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment</li>
<li>Flexibility and willingness to adapt easily to evolving requirements</li>
<li>Ability to work independently to solve difficult problems and implement solutions</li>

<strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the first level of customer interaction to identify and resolve software issues</li>
<li>Create reproducible test cases, file bug reports, and initiate delivery of fixes</li>
<li>Design and develop software tools (applications and scripts) to improve ETI&#8217;s software development process</li>
<li>Create and maintain existing automated test tools</li>
<li>Participate in qualification testing of new releases</li>
<li>Provide regular feedback to software developers, to help ensure that repeated problems are quickly identified and resolved</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Background in programming using C/C++ programming languages</li>
<li>Experience in customer support role</li>
<li>Background in script languages: BASH, Python, Perl, etc.</li>
<li>BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment</li>
