Overview:
Our client is a leading provider of Email Marketing software. Their Software as a Solution (SAAS) suite gives businesses the tools they need to engage customers in relevant email conversations resulting in business growth and service opportunities. We are currently looking for a proven sales leader with hands on experience and the ability to take their sales program and sales force to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a passion for achieving results based on sound business process and the use of innovative technology. This person must have exceptional communication skills, 7 to 10 years of sales management experience and proven success, excellent technology knowledge and understanding, and a leadership style that will foster growth not only for the company but for the individuals in our sales force. Salary will be commensurate with experience; opportunity includes profit sharing, commissions and bonus.
Position Summary:
Proven sales leader with hands on experience and the ability to take the sales program and the sales force to the next level. The position requires a passion for achieving results based on sound business process and the use of innovative technology. The ideal individual will mentor, coach, steer, counsel, and manage the sales team to success in our industry.
Duties:
- Recruit, coach, and manage successful sales team.
- Manage all sales efforts, forecasting and analysis.
- Lead the ongoing drive to acquire new business.
- Conduct weekly meeting with all sales reps to review performance and opportunities.
- Ensure the quality of the sales process and service operation.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for sales.
- Monitor success against established performance norms and sales goals and quotas.
- Implement and enforce the use of improvement processes and tools to improve sales performance.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills.
- 7to 10 years progressive experience in direct sales and sales management.
- 5 plus years in selling B2B environment.
- Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Solution) product and applications.
- Demonstrated understanding of development platforms and processes.
Needed Competencies:
- B/A- B/S preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent software understanding.
- Proven personal sales ability.
