IT Manager

Primary Function:
Our client is looking for a high level information technology infrastructure and ERP applications manager. The qualified candidate must have prior experience building a viable operational plan to manage all aspects of the IT infrastructure and application support. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.
Requirements:
- Interprets strategic plans and recommends IT actions to support them.
- Plans and controls staffing and development, organization, hardware acquisition and facilities for the IT department to assure that they are consistent with and supportive of the business plans of the company.
- Directs the design, development and maintenance of systems, programs and systems software to meet the needs of the company.
- Administers and controls the IT expense budget.
- Maintains knowledge of developments in the area of systems and hardware to assure that new developments are incorporated in future systems of the company.
- Responsible for the global IT systems.
- Collaborates with and supports initiatives which might be led by other functional areas such as Marketing.
- 10% international travel.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; at least 5 years relevant experience and 5 years supervisory experience. Previous experience with a major ERP system such as SAP, JDE, 4th Shift, Oracle etc.
Qualifications:
Ability to: read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents; respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community; write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format; effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors; work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

$85,000-$110,000
