Project / IT Portfolio Manager – Infrastructure

Responsibilities:

Providing project management services to the operating companies including; working with key individuals/stakeholders  to determine project critical success factors and ensuring that projects are structured so that critical business needs are met.  Developing project plans, generating work breakdown structures, estimating task duration, determining resource requirements, identifying and tracking dependencies, assessing and mitigating risk, escalation of issues and managing project budgets.  The candidate directs and coordinates activities of staff to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget, establishes work plans and staffing for each phase of project, assists with arrangements for recruitment or assignment of project personnel, and creates and reviews status reports, as well as prepares project reports for management, clients, or others as required.  Developing and maintaining strong, candid and trusting relationships with operating companies and vendor resources are critical to the success of this position.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee master project planning, helping to establish how the Infrastructure organization manages their portfolio of projects and managed service offerings
  • Assist the VP to implement structure in what is currently an informal, understructured environment, this will require an entrepreneurial and opportunistic approach.
  • Take on a holistic view of the environment, refining and executing the VPs vision and implementing change.
  • Direct and manage enterprise-level software projects involving multiple sites throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Build and maintain successful customer relationships with senior staff and company management to nurture a continuing business partnership.
  • Identify and match project requirements with resource skills and allocations.
  • Coordinate, integrate, and mobilize collective project resources from Vendors and companies to achieve project objectives.
  • Utilize communication skills to effectively communicate with project team members and project stakeholders including company Sr. management.
  • Assist in the translation of company-specific critical success factors and business requirements into project deliverables.
  • Identify, manage/mitigate and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Utilize effective negotiation and mediation skills as needed within a project or across teams and resources.
  • Travel required: estimated to be 50% – 60% on an annualized basis (travel will be a factor of where the employee is located relative to the sites  and the operating companies engaged in a particular systems initiatives).

Required Experience

  • 5+years of project and portfolio management experience with advanced issue management and risk mitigation skills
  • Broad and substantial infrastructure knowledge (servers, telecom, networks, etc.)
  • ITIL Service management understanding with the ability to oversee 100s of projects, managed services, rate cards, service catalogs, etc.
  • Command of Project management tools
  • Ability to create detailed program models – Hands on over directing creation
  • Strong PPT skills ability to produce presentations in MS Powerpoint
  • Experience with reporting to the senior level technology executives, ideally with very diverse large and small company experience
  • Resource balancing across multiple projects with advanced time management, planning and multi-tasking aptitudes
  • Results-driven, personable and diplomatic with the ability to effectively interact with executive level business partners
  • Proven organizational, matrix management and team building competencies
  • Ability to effectively navigate through a variety of peer levels and negotiate strategic, tactical and operational issues at those varying levels of responsibility
  • P&C insurance or financial industry experience is a plus
  • Technical exposure in project management or business systems analyst experience, or history of successful interface with technology resources (company and/or vendor systems development staff)

SEO, SEM, PPC Specialist Job Description

We are looking for intelligent, motivated SEO & PPC specialist for a full-time opportunity to assist our customers in meeting their Web presence objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay Per Click Advertising (PPC), strong written and verbal skills, and familiarity with Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing (YSM). Knowledge of MSN AdCenter and Ask Jeeves PPC are a plus. The candidate should also be results driven, ambitious, organized, articulate and a self-starter. Duties:

Sales Executive

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Executive with a proven track record of success.  The successful candidate will have experience selling software as a service (SaaS) and have a clear understanding of solution-based sales.

Position Summary

The primary mission of the Sales Executive will be to grow business for our SaaS product, and all other relevant on-line business solutions related to this software.  You will need to be very hands-on!  The successful candidate must be able to deliver sales immediately through all relevant verticals.

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  • Execute a revenue strategy for the sale of SaaS and additional solutions, to all leads in the defined marketplace.  This will include opportunity identification of buyers and competitive intelligence, as well as sales analysis and effective pricing to ensure revenue/margin growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently achieve set sales objectives for the remainder of 2010.  Presently, our marketplace has a concentration on leads in the e-tail category. Be prepared for growth in this category and more future verticals moving in 2011.
  • Generate a high lead-to-sales close rate.
  • Work with the Global Director of Sales to provide sales channel feedback.
  • Identify, map/document and develop relationships with buyers.  This documentation should be transparent to the company through the use of Salesforce CRM software, which would include data detailing pertinent prospect and deal information.
  • Develop a method to reliably anticipate and understand market trends, customer issue and needs, and competitive moves to serve as a foundation for moving forward.
  • Work with The Global Director of Sales to build a market reputation for innovative sales, marketing strategies and techniques.

EDUCATION:

  • 4 year degree is important.  We will consider candidates that did not complete a college degree, but there should be an evident path of success.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SaaS sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • 5-15 years of progressive experience focused on sales, business development and strategy with a recognized email service provider (preferred), interactive advertising agency or direct marketing company, is required.
  • A “rolodex” of relationships to immediately contact and generate interest.

Supervising Bookmaker

We have an immediate need for bookmaker who has proven experience with odds and/or sports wagering.  This position will be monitoring active games, reviewing odds and or making appropriate decisions on lines based upon updated criteria.  They will also, test and review cards before distribution, post odds to the boards and verify transaction payout.

Job Purpose:

It is the responsibility of the Supervising Bookmaker to set up and monitor the daily operations of the sports book hub.  In the absence of the Director, Manager and/or Asst Manager, this position posts opening lines, approves wagers, voids, and moves lines when necessary.

Minimum Employment Requirements:

21+ years of age, proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States, High School Diploma or equivalent, must be able to obtain a valid Delaware gaming license, ability to effectively communicate in English both in oral and written form, maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, work varied shifts that include weekends and holidays.

Specific Job Requirements:

Four (4) years guest service and cash handling experience including comprehensive understanding of odds making and sports betting practices and procedures.  Ability to effectively answer questions regarding sports wagering, sports wagering limits and house rules.  Input sports information received into administration terminal, verify and post event results, answer all calls from satellites, create, update and e-mail all opening line sheets and information electronically (limit changes, injuries, off the board games, sports results, etc.) to satellite locations.  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a must, including ability to maintain spreadsheets and create forms/documents from scratch.  Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch without restriction.  Maintain manual dexterity necessary to perform in an area that may be unusually  illuminated, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment. Deal effectively with guests, management and fellow employees in all situations, dexterity in the hands and fingers to operate a computer key board and mouse, visual abilities and tolerance needed to use a computer and complete detailed paperwork in the sports book hub.
