Applications Developer

Our client is a progressive Internet marketing firm who is looking for a talented developer.  This organization is small and dynamic.  The successful candidate will take part in all aspects of the development lifecycle and will be client-facing.

Skills:

 

  • Programming in HTML/CSS.  A thorough understanding of the code and can develop independently from tools such as Dreamweaver
  • Development against a CMS (DotNetNuke preferred)
  • JavaScript and/or JQuery experience
  • Understanding of responsive design HTML/CSS concepts
  • Experience with the Creative Suite of products, Photoshop preferred.
  • Mobile development experience a plus

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Confers with account executive, project manager, or client, utilizing graphics/software knowledge and research to evaluate individual project needs and goals
  • Confers with account executive, project manager, or client to provide creative design conceptualization and feedback to implement and/or enhance project production
  • Confers with account executive, project manager, or client to refine and evaluate projects to meet and enhance specific design and/or composition needs and goals
  • Reviews and organizes client manuscript or data files to create or outline overall project specifications and provide input on project requirements and schedules
  • Assists with project proposals by providing project production cycle input and review
  • Prioritize, track, handle and maintain records of elements and time schedules of multiple projects through account executive or project manager consultation.
  • Utilizes all available computer hardware and software to design and create high-quality, cost-effective advertising/marketing collateral and publication materials.
  • Coordinates and handles all technological aspects of final project production by maximizing knowledge of final output mediums and their respective requirements.
  • Works with vendors to provide necessary production elements not provided by in-house resources.
  • Maintains confidentiality while working closely with account executive, project manager, or client regarding all aspects of projects
  • Maximizes knowledge of existing software applications to optimize production methods
  • Evaluates and recommends new or upgraded software and/or hardware to enhance electronic design and production
  • Advises other company personnel on optimum production techniques
  • Trains other company personnel on new or upgraded software packages and/or hardware

Compensation:

$45,000 – $75,000
