Account Manager

Our client is looking for qualified candidates who are interested in becoming an Account Manager for a local, successful new media agency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

  • Initiate and maintain contact with clients on a daily basis in order to manage new and existing projects and expectations efficiently.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively within an agency environment.
  • Understand and support the sales and project management process and policies including actively maintaining accurate records within the client’s project management tools (i.e. timelines,deliverables,billing/invoices,internal communication and progress, etc.).
  • Offer software and program support and training to clients (i.e. WordPress Email,Marketing Platforms,Salesforce,Magento, etc.).
  • Participate and contribute towards the development and up-sell of digital strategy work with clients on a daily basis.
  • Assistance resourcing sub contractors on an as needed basis.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Must possess a college degree or some level of higher education in Marketing, Communications or other related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an Account Manager or similar role.
  • Thorough background/understanding of digital/interactive media (i.e. web development, mobile applications and software, SEO, email marketing, social media, etc.).
  • Strong time-management, multi-tasking, organization and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Experience with version control systems a plus (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal.
  • Posses an enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
  • Active listener and problem-solver.
  • Maintain professional appearance and persona.
  • Willingness to learn on a daily basis and dedication to improving internal process.
  • Work well both on a team and individually.
