Enterprise Sales Manager

Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced new business Sales Manager.  This individual will be responsible for aggressively driving new sales and overall business growth and must be success oriented, assertive, a team player and able to perform effectively in a very fast paced, ever changing technical environment.  Candidate must also demonstrate exemplary business ethics and integrity.

This position is located at the company’s Headquarters in Lititz, PA; however, telecommunicating may be a considered for the right candidate.  This is a hybrid sales position; it is a combination of inside and direct selling. The majority of selling tasks and activities will be performed via telephone and conference calls; however, for large and strategic opportunities, face-to-face direct selling will be required. The Sales Manager will also be required to travel to occasional trade shows and/or marketing events.

The Sales Manager has the primary responsibility of acquiring new customers.

Additional Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities that exceeds quota and keep abreast of every prospect in  assigned territory or named accounts and lead portfolio
  • Identify and qualify  prospects’ needs and develop solutions and value propositions
  • Create and present comprehensive plans and solutions to prospects that meet their immediate, intermediate and long term business goals and objectives and demonstrate clients’s commitment as a strategic partner
  • Build relationships with the key executives and role players within the account and then develop a sales strategy with a compelling business value proposition regarding how our client will help them solve their business issues, provide them the business results they seek
  • Negotiate access to key decision makers and facilitate meetings with client executives
  • Develop and execute  mutual action plans and closing strategies with  decision maker(s)
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of all lead, opportunity and related data using Salesforce.com

Qualifications and Requirements:

Successful candidates must have a demonstrated sales track record of developing and managing “Enterprise” accounts, defined as accounts within the Internet Retailer First 500.  Candidates must also have a proven track record of forecasting and closing opportunities in the $100,000 to $500,000 plus range and achieving an annual sales quota greater than $2M.

Strong candidates must have at least 7+ years of software sales experience and have mastered a “consultative” value based approach to selling.    Ideal candidates will have:

  • B2B eCommerce SaaS  sales experience  with a proven  track record of exceeding  quotas
  • Recent experience selling Email marketing and/or related marketing solutions to eCommerce Retailers (Preferably 2-4 years of experiences in the Email marketing industry within the last 6 years)
  • Proficiency  using B2B Consultative selling methodology
  • Ability to achieve the required level of selling activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A “Book of Business” of relationships is desirable to immediately generate leads
  • Excellent  lead development, qualification, negotiation and closing skills
  • Stable track record with 4+ years in each organization
  • Recent earnings history well in excess of six figures
  • BA/BS or equivalent, MBA is preferred
