Account Manager

Our client, an internet marketing and SEO focused start-up, is searching for exceptional account managers. This position requires the ability to work to ensure successful customer implementations and maintains relationships with clients on an ongoing basis. This position also requires interfacing with a variety of clients on a daily basis, and being responsible for building and maintaining high customer satisfaction. It is expected that each business relationship be managed to optimize the client experience at all levels, utilizing good listening skills and prudent judgment. The expectation is that for each client, we recommend SEO strategies and tactics to help clients reach optimal engagement with their customers, as well as recommend additional solutions and services as appropriate to optimize the client’s ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport, advise, retain, upsell, and then do it again.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to each client every time.
  • Build strong client relationships grounded in partnership.
  • Closely monitor account activity, confirming utilization and deliverability success.
  • Ensure that each new client experiences a successful implementation of services.
  • Communicate appropriate expectations for project deliverables to client.
  • Work closely with Professional Services team for each project initiated for client.
  • Report and escalate critical information to appropriate management level.
  • Act as SEO consultant with regards to best practices .
  • Recommend/Upsell strategies to enhance ROI for client’s business.

Requirements:

  • Technically savvy.
  • General understanding of and strong willingness to learn SEO best practices.
  • Willing to engage clients on the phone for majority of day.
