Social Media Manager

Our client is looking for a strategic and creative person to manage and grow their social media practice internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic social media programs for external clients
  • Stay current on Social Media best practices
  • Identify and test new tools and applications
  • Work effectively with internal team
  • Direct, teach and train writers on the finer points of writing across all social media platforms.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required.  Concentrations should include one or more of the following:  Social media, communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism or media
  • Three to five years of professional experience, preferably in a social media position
  • Proven track record of developing effective social media campaigns with traditional and emerging social mediums/networks.
  • Demonstrated high aptitude of Social Media platforms, monitoring tools, techniques and resources.
  • Clearly demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and projects, and work well with colleagues, clients and external resources.
  • Advanced understanding of business-to-business marketing communications and how social media is integrated into digital marketing communications programs.
