Senior Windows NT Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Windows Systems Administrator responsible for the implementation and support of Windows and Linux based operating systems and various application, hardware and software platforms. Regular job responsibilities will involve supporting a variety of technologies, customer and team driven projects, handling trouble tickets on a priority basis, lifting/moving heavy server and other related equipment, participation in tasks related to helpdesk and desktop support service orders required to meet customer needs.

Compensation:
$90,000 – $100,000
The qualified candidate will have professional experience working with the following:
- Microsoft Windows Server technology for more than five (5+) years
- Windows Systems / applications Patch Management for more than five (5+) years.
- Web Server technologies for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Enterprise Antivirus
- Windows Systems backup and restore using various tools / utilities
- VBS, Winbatch and/or other scripting languages for systems management.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (protocols, software & HW components
- Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server, Citrix Access Gateway / Netscaler, VMWare ESX and Virtual Center virtualization technologies
The qualified candidate will demonstrate the ability:

- To work with minimal supervision.
- Handle multiple tasks and projects with various and changing levels of priority
- Provide technical support and direction to individuals and teams
- Be willing to explore and apply different & emerging technologies that will support and enhance customer and business technology needs.
- Build, configure, install servers, rack equipment and other related equipment
- Work irregular hours to meet business requirements
It will be considered a plus for the candidate to have experience with the following specific platforms / technologies: CA Unicenter Software Delivery, Asset Management & Patch Management, Trend Micro OfficeScan, Windows Deployment Services / unattended installation, Windows Software Update Services, Websphere, Coldfusion, Bluecoat Proxy, Advanced Host Monitor, Linux.
