Web Developer / Wordpress

We are looking for a web developer with experience in building dynamic, custom Wordpress themes and plugins. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing Wordpress sites from Photoshop-based design mocks, using HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript.
This position will be responsible for building new websites, making regular website edits, and on occasion, coding and delivering email marketing campaigns. Type of project work will vary from week to week.
This organization is a fast-paced, mid-sized interactive services company in south central Pennsylvania. The candidate must be able to juggle and adapt quickly to multiple / shifting priorities and be comfortable with working directly with the interactive team.

Compensation:
Temporary, $25 – $35 / hour
Term:
2 months, 15 – 20 hours / week
REQUIREMENTS:
- Build dynamic WordPress themes and write custom plugins using XHTML, CSS, and PHP
- Convert Photoshop mock-ups of web sites into pixel-perfect, valid XHTML/CSS
- Enhance websites using Javascript / jQuery
- Experience in cross-browser testing and implementation
- Experience in creating complex layouts using CSS and semantic, valid HTML
- Experience in coding and delivering HTML emails (via Campaign Monitor, Listrak and/or MailChimp)
- Thorough knowledge of web standards
- An eye for web design basics: whitespace, color and an understanding of iconography
- Consideration of website architecture, navigation structures, file-naming conventions and minimizing HTTP requests
- Knowledge of image-editing software. Fireworks is OK; Photoshop is ideal
- Web-specific Photoshop experience
- A minimum of two years designing and developing for the web
- Experience in ExpressionEngine is a HUGE plus
